Photography 101- professional tips that will help anyone take their photography to the next level or at least help give a little inspiration. There are no rules in photography. Here is a collection of basic tips and ideas that will help you get out there and start taking photos!
Just because someone has an expensive camera doesn’t mean that they’re a good photographer.
Always shoot in RAW. Always.
Photo editing is an art in itself.
Photography is the art of observation.
There is no “magic” camera or lens that will automatically do the job for you.
Better lenses don’t give you better photos. But better skills do. Upgrade your skills before you upgrade your camera.
Worry less about technical aspects and focus more on compositional aspects of photography.
Always underexposed by 2/3rd of a stop when shooting in broad daylight.
Don’t be afraid to take several photos of the same scene at different exposures, angles, or apertures.
The definition of photography is: “painting with light.” Use light in your favor.
